Features of the use of electric heat generators in the processes of compaction of diurnal graphs of the electrical load of a power system

Abstract:

Investigations in this paper are directed to creating in the Integrated Energy System of Ukraine a self-sufficient  (deficit-free) reserve of maneuverable powers due to the use automatically controlled loading of electric heat generator (EHG) complexes in the current dispatch control  system. In addressing this issue, we considered the processes of joint use of electric and thermal powers of the EHG complexes, provided that there is a well-established interaction between the dispatch centers of control of mode of the power-system loading and the cities' heat supply centers. On the example of using the controlled load of EHG complexes in the processes of compaction of diurnal load curve of the Kiev energy center, we show the energy efficiency of implementation of these complexes.
