New directions in the realization of management process of the load current regime in OES of Ukraine

The absence in the structure of generating powers in UES of Ukraine with the low enough level of shunting capacity of HPP and HAPP hinders adjusting of daily power system load chart. It affects on passing of nightly dips of load chart, providing of emergency and frequency reserves, that results in diminishing of stability and reliability of work of UES of Ukraine. Under the circumstances greater part of range of adjusting of loading day's graph is carried out the coal blocks of TPP, by power 200-300 MW (which were designed for the base mode of load turn-down 20-30%, from nominal power). Every day operators of the stations disconnect to 10 power units for passing of night dip of the graph of loading, with subsequent their including for passing peaks of load in morning and evening, that results in the heavy additional tolls of fuel (to 300 thousand tons of standard fuel in a year). Amount of starting-stops of coal power units of majority TPP exceeds far an amount, settled by a manufacturer. The amount of damages of mobile power units of TPP in 3 - 4 times is higher, than of power units which work in the base mode according to statistical information.
In this connection, new directions in realization of processes of management the mode of loading of grid in the night hours which are based on the use of new principles of power load automatic control of modern electro-thermal consumer-regulators (ETСR) are considered in the work. The main advantage in the use of consumer-regulators of ETСR there is that due to their use the nightly dip of loading will be eliminated, i.e. the new minimum level of loading will be created in a grid. Thus, it will allow to remove existing problems of grid, concerning the necessity of disconnecting of part of mobile power units of TPP for nightly dip of loading. In addition, will become possible to shorten the amount of power units of TPP, workings in the shunting modes.
