One of the main causes for the low efficiency of enterprises of the coal-mining industry is the high level of depreciation of the equipment for cleaning and preparatory operations, underground transport, etc.
During the period of economic difficulties in the country, one of the important issues in the field of modernization of enterprises of the coal-mining industry is the optimal usage of state’s means, i.e. ensuring the maximum productivity of an installed equipment at the minimum power consumption during its operation.
A model of optimization of the facilities of coal-mining complexes is proposed. The productivity of the industry at a minimum consumption of electric power and minimum expenditures on the modernization of mines is chosen as the optimization criterion.
The approbation of the model on the formation of Ukraine’s coal-mining complexes by the developed algorithm testifies to its workability and adequacy to the object under study. The results of simulations indicate a high efficiency of the optimum variant of the implementation of high technologies.
