The comparative analysis of the electric loss (EL) evaluation accuracy in the distribution network power transmission line is performed in terms of three approximation load models: uniformly distributed, concentrated, and normally distributed according to the probability normal distribution law. It is proved that the last approximation provided that additional data is available leads to the most accurate results of the EL evaluation.
